More pictures from Wednesday
I forgot to post a couple other pictures from my Wednesday adventure with 5 kids! Poor little Hannah played so hard, and she would just give up without a moments notice and just crash...and both times, she just laid her head down and fell asleep while in the walker or the exer-saucer. Too cute! Luckily, I was able to transplant her into the pac-n-play to lay her down without any problems.

Breaking News!
The plumber is here RIGHT NOW installing the new tub. I will post pics later. Right now I'm just trying to stay out of his way!
Our tile guy is planning on coming first thing in the morning to get started on that! YAY! Check back for updates!

Polka-Dot Snake
My friend Sherree is traveling the islands with her dad today, so Hannah and Hudson are hangin' with the Turners today!They arrived bright and early this morning....Nick took the boys to pre-school and the girls got busy playing!
They are both big climbers and grabbers and are both very active!

After a few hours of playing, this little one just gave up. One second she was playing and the next, I look over and she was out!
It's lunch time, this should be fun...and interesting! The boys are back so I'm now in a world of experiencing twins...times 2!

Thank goodness McKenzie has a short day today and will be home around 1PM! I am going to really need an extra pair of hands...but so far so good! It's just really busy here!

Uncle Danny
Trevor really likes his Uncle Danny being in town.
My brother and sister-in-law are in town and have been in Maui for the last few days. Poor Trevor has missed them since they left, but they got back on Oahu this afternoon and came back to hang out for the evening (and do some laundry)!
After we grilled up some hot dogs and hamburgers, Trevor was pulling out all the toys for his Uncle Danny and him to play with.
Sorry the pictures are a little dark, the sun goes down before 7PM here, unlike back in Iowa where the sun is up til after 9PM!!

Plumber
Oops! Our plumber apparently over committed himself on workload, so we will be waiting until at least next weekend for our new tub to be installed!
That's ok, though, because Nick is going to have to rebuild one wall in the bathroom due to a little termite damage in a few boards. (Old damage, nothing new) So he has all week to get that done. We will just be minus one bathroom for a few days.
Today Melissa and Danny come back from Maui. If you haven't seen here blogs yet, you HAVE to check it out. Her pictures are amazing! She has been really good about posting each night!

McKenzie went with our friends, the Ladner's, yesterday after the birthday party to help paint their new house. They ended up painting til late and so she just had a little sleepover at their house. Today she is helping them finish up packing and moving out! Addison is napping, so after she wakes up, I think we'll head over there ourselves and see what we can do to help out!
Nick has tomorrow off, so I don't know what is on the agenda. Stay tuned...

Wyatt's First Birthday
After the bathroom demo, we headed to the base for Wyatt Attwood's first birthday party! It was a blast! The kids had a great time, and so did we! Plus, it was good for Nick to sit back and relax and enjoy some R&R. We've decided we need to get together every Sunday for cake and ice cream..... it's just too much fun!
I made a Curious George cake and a mini #1 smash cake for Wyatt.

Nick started drilling the rafter vent holes in the addition. 10 down, 30 to go!
See, he wasn't really that high up....I was just havin' a little fun with the camera!

Today was demolition day on the hallway bathroom! Here is the before picture with the shower curtain gone.
Goodbye ugly faux marble! McKenzie even got in on the action! Nick had her removing old screws...I think she likes using the power tools!
Then is was out with the toilet, vanity, and last but certainly not least, well, maybe least....the giant cast iron tub!
Nick stopping briefly to pose with the tub that he finally maneuvered out of the bathroom!
And here you have it! The gutted bathroom! The plumber will be here in the morning to install the new tub and hardware! Then we have the tile guy lined up to do the shower area and the floor! We made a trip to Lowe's last night and picked up a new shiny tub and pretty vanity!
Stay tuned for progress on our bathroom!
