New Dress & Microwave

Sporting another new dress today...and I think my favorite of the bunch, Addison has been on the move today...constantly! She has dumped out all the DVD's off our stand, tossed all the diapers out of the diaper basket, and ATTEMPTED to dump out all the coloring books in Trevor's playroom like she did yesterday....but luckily I stopped that endeavor before it started!
Nick stayed up last night and installed the microwave! It is still not connected to power, as nick needs to get an outlet from the hardware store to complete that one. BUT! That didn't stop him from plugging it in with an extension cord just so he could play with all the buttons and make sure it worked! The timer works, fan works, buttons all make sound, clock works, etc, etc, etc....until I made him stop. But doesn't it look nice?!?!??!?!!??!?
Eeeeee!!!!! I love love love my new stove and microwave..... and yes, my 'handy' husband too!!!

STOVE BOX HOUSE

Addison in her new dress from her Auntie Meridith (and Auntie Angie in the next size up) I love it! She was not allowed in Trevor's house, so to protest, she dumped out all his books and a game with lots of little pieces! Trevor screamed: ADDI! You WILL pick up this mess!!!! She just looked at him and smiled.

Here is his box house Nick and I carved out for him. He even has a sunroof.
His sign reads:
TREVOR'S HOUSE
NO GIRLS ALLOWED.
OR BROOKIE!
(he told me what to put on there)

I let him eat his lunch in there today while he watched Wall-E

Back to School & A New Stove

Today my little man went back to pre-school after his long Christmas break! He was sawing logs when I went to wake him up this morning. Why is it that children NEVER sleep in on non-school days?! He has been up before 7am every morning until this morning. He was so not ready to wake up. Then he moped through breakfast....I had to rush him through his waffles. We made it to school just in time.

Since he missed the last day before break, he had quite a pile of loot waiting for him. He had lots of goodies from his teachers and classmates.
Our good friends at Sears called us today to let us know our new stove and microwave had come in. Nick went right over after work to pick them up.

GOODBYE old stove!

Hello gorgeous new self-cleaning stove! I love you!
Nick plans to install the new microwave tomorrow after work if he gets off at a decent time! You'd never know he was leaving on deployment in 2 weeks! He just keeps working on the house! He jokes that he has to deploy to get a break. Ha!

Surprise!

Shortly after Addison's 1st birthday, we found out we are expecting again! Although it's a little sooner than we had planned, we eventually wanted to have one more...so we are very excited!

I went for a checkup yesterday and am 9 1/2 weeks along. The ultrasound picture from yesterday isn't very clear, so I didn't scan it, but Baby's legs were kicking away and I got to see the heart beating. It was too early to hear it, but seeing it was just as neat!

Here is our little peanut at 7 weeks.
He or she is the little peanut inside the black circle.

#4 should be here around August 5th!

We pretty much have decided on a girl's name since we had a list from when we had Addison, but we are fighting over boy names....help us out by voting on your favorite boy or girl name on the left! I think it will be fun to see how you all vote!

Who knows, it may change before August!

We are still undecided if we are going to cheat and find out the sex of the baby. Nick will be deployed for the remainder of the pregnancy and most likely the birth as well, so he needs to be nice to me so that I consider his choice for a boy name! He may not be here when they ask for the official name!!! Ha Ha!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

We arrived back in Hawaii early evening on the 31st. Coming through the mountains on the H3 to the windward side, we were already seeing fireworks in the sky before dark!

Not having anything in our fridge for supper, we were invited to our friends house for a New Years Party. We unloaded our luggage, showered, and headed up to the party for some awesome food.

Jetlagged and exhausted from our day of traveling, we feasted on King Crab Legs, amazing Ahi and Ono fish, bacon wrapped asparagus, and a table full of delicious pupus that were much better than the pizza we had planned on ordering that night!

We enjoyed being back home and visited with our friends for a while before calling it an early night and heading home. The kids were in bed by 9 and Nick and I went soon after. However, laying in bed listening to the fireworks was like laying in bed while the entire town of Kaneohe was under fire.

I have to say this years' most popular fire works was something related to an M80 on steroids. Our neighbors must have smuggled in cases of them. Just when I attempted to doze off again for the umpteenth time, BOOOM! The house would rattle and it was so much for sleeping. I have no idea how the kids were able to sleep through all that.

This went on all night. Finally minutes before midnight, I gave up, grabbed the camera, and headed out to our upstairs lanai. Here is a brief show of what Kaneohe looks like at the stroke of midnight. There are so many people shooting off fireworks, that the sky is full of smoke. You can't even see half of them because of it. Unfortunately, you can still hear them all!!!!

I love fireworks, but after the day we had, I just wanted to sleep. The fireworks didn't cease until after 1:ooAM.

The dog was going so crazy that I had to put her kennel in the closet so that her barking was muted....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Wilson Christmas & Turner Christmas

WILSON CHRISTMAS
My parents brought down 3 rounds of presents for everyone....there was wrapping paper EVERYWHERE!!!!
All the little kiddos got a personalized back, full of presents.

My poor little sick Addi

My nephew Dylan is a spiderman kinda guy!

Here, Nick was taking pictures of my brother, Danny. I think this is going in his modeling portfolio!
The kids got a balance game and it is so much fun. It takes a little coordination and a lot of thought about where you are going to place the next piece.

While McKenzie and Nick slowly placed their pieces on the game, Trevor grabs his piece and just puts it right up there without missing a beat. He's got a look of determination, but man was he quick...and good!!!

Here you can see how Nick didn't chose such a smart place... seconds after this picture, the game came crashing down, leaving Nick with all the pieces for him.
TURNER CHRISTMAS
Christmas at the Turner's is always kicked off with an amazing meal! The food was awesome! Addison even got herself a turkey bone to gnaw on....Mmmm

Sitting on Uncle Jim's lap (Nick's brother) Addison began opening her mountain of gifts.

You can imagine the reaction to this movie... everyone in the room immediately said "WAAAAALL-EEEEEEE"

How many Turners' does it take to put together a quilt rack?
Apparently 3

And you can't have a Turner Christmas with out a round or 'ten' of Catch Phrase!
McKenzie even joined in this year, flailing arms and all when it came to be her turn.
Luckily this year the word "Oval" was not in the game so Judy (Nick's Mom) couldn't use the clue "BENT CIRCLE!"

Christmas Morning & Cummings Christmas

Although Addison, Nick and Kim were in the hospital, Santa still made a stop at grandma's for Trevor and McKenzie. Here they are showing off their presents:

A few days before....
Kim's mom's family gathered for a Christmas get together... The weather wasn't very cooperative. Snow and ice prevented some of the family to attend, but those who were able, came with lots of goodies!

Here is my mom with her brother and sisters. One brother was unable to attend due to the weather.
Top row: Uncle Ron, Mom
Bottom Row: Aunt Mary, Aunt DeAnne

Addi was just getting the whole present thing figured out.

And here are the kiddos anxiously awaiting the ok to rip into their presents...

...and here's the little stinker who started the competition, Dylan.
