What is all this white stuff!?!?

Yesterday we had a winter weather advisory.  It was raining.  Then it turned to sleet... then the temperature dropped and we had...

and a little while later...

The kids were so super excited to watch the giant snowflakes... Trevor and Addison set up their chairs in the window and it reminded me of the beginning of the Cat in the Hat.

And in just a few short hours we had this:

McKenzie even went out in the backyard with a couple neighbor kids and attempted to sled... with little success. There wasn't THAT much snow.  But she came in shortly after going out to add a few more layers.  She was f-f-f-f-freeeeezing!!!

And with the cold weather comes.... STATIC. As seen here on Addison.
