Addison's 1st Haircut

Today we took Addison to get her first real haircut... because getting your bangs cut by mom doesn't count!  So, at the age of 3 years and 1 month, we finally did it!

This is all I have of a BEFORE photo waiting at the salon:

She was in good spirits until we sat on the booster seat in the salon...
She immediately looked down with a frown, so the gal gave her a Dum Dum sucker to help her warm up a little...

 But she just said "Thank You", stuck the sucker in her mouth, and looked back down.

I caught her sneaking a peek in the mirror at the clips in her hair.

 And when it was all said and done, she looked up, frown and all, sucker in mouth.

The moment we left the salon, she was all smiles and asking us all if we loved her hair!  She just couldn't wait to get home to show Daddy her new haircut! 

"Ta-La-La" she said as she flipped her hat off to show Dad her new do! "Do you LOVE IT!?"

I love how it turned out! And I'm so glad she sat still long enough to get it cut, even if she did look down and frown the whole time!!! It could have been worse!
