Dinner with Dan Kelley in Waikiki

Nick's buddy from back home is a pilot for Continental. He and a flight attendant friend of his flew out to Hawaii for 2 days. We met them down at the Shorebird in Waikiki for supper. We had a great table right on the beach...sorry, no speedos. Not...that I was watching or anything.

But that's ok, because usually the ones in the speedos..... SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED IN SPEEDOS!

Marine Corps Birthday Ball

Happy 233rd Birthday Marine Corps!

Nick and I went to the Marine Corps Birthday Ball last night down in Waikiki at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel. It was a nice night out together, which we don't get often! It was also a fun chance for me to get all dressed up wear something other than shorts and a tshirt! (and actually put on some makeup!)

So a big thank you to our friend Sherree for watching our little ones while we went out for a few hours!

We started the night up in the CO's suite with some pupus and wine. They had a great spread...and an awesome ocean view! I would have been fine with standing out on their lanai all night. The food was so much better up there too!

I was impressed with some of the Marines out on the dance floor! I do like a man in uniform...but a Marine in uniform that can dance...oh my!
