2012 Family Photos

I had a dear friend of ours take our family photos recently. She did an AMAZING job and I am so excited to share them with you on our blog.

Go like her facebook page at:

I'm still trying to decided which one(s) to use for our Christmas card this year. I love them ALL!

As you can see we had a ton of fun that morning.  Thank you so much Kristina for capturing these moments for us!

Road Trip to Iowa

Our friends let us borrow their RV once again (its the same one we took to Florida last spring).
Nick finished up at work, and we loaded her up and headed West!

All day while I got our stuff ready and placed by the door, Lilly hung out by the door just so I wouldn't forget to bring her along with us... she knew we were leaving... and she was NOT about to be left behind!!!

This was about 1 hour in to our 16 hour drive... thank goodness for movies!

Nick found comfort in Addi's  pink Disney princess pillow to keep the driver's seat comfortable. This is exactly why I can never sleep when Nick drives because I was afraid he would get TOO comfortable.
Tyler hanging out on the cooler temporarily... heels in the cup holders for safety!
Then back at their positions later on in the trip...

Post nap face...

Trevor napping.

Addison entertaining herself with an iPhone....
...and taking pictures like this for us to find later...
We camped out in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Ohio and trucked on the next day..
finally crossing the Iowa border! YAY!
Wait... what's that smell??? ... Cows a.k.a. Iowa!
Captain underpants keeping the RV in check while Dad fills 'er up with fuel!

We made an overnight stop at my mom and dad's to pick up McKenzie.  And how could we NOT take a nice cool dip in the pool with the nephews!!! Doesn't Carson look thrilled!

San Fransisco - Last day in California

The night before our last day, we ate at a small little Irish Pub near our hotel. It was late, but they were nice enough to cook us up some appetizers!

And boy... The drinks were strong!!!

And as the night went on... we started having too much fun with my iPhone apps...

Doesn't my sister look like the Queen of Hearts in Johnny Depp's Alice in Wonderland!!!

Out of nowhere, we heard a quartette start singing... and in the back corner of the pub, were these elderly gentlemen crankin' out the tunes!!! ENCORE!

Our last day in California, we spent in San Fransisco! Angie flew out that morning to get back to work, so it was just me, Meridith and our mom!

CHINA TOWN

You could not pay me to eat this fruit. Just sayin.

We just couldn't pass up the WILSON TRAVEL SERVICE sign photo op while walking through china town!

You see all the old fashioned street cars in movies, and on Full House... (you know you have).. it was not so glamorous for us. We were crammed in the car... people packed in like sardines... You couldn't hang off the side like you see on TV. That's all I wanted to do. Boo.

This street had like 8 hair pin turns in it....

All this car needed was a Herkie on the side!!!

We walked down to the Wharf.... and got 'quacked' at...

 Lunch at Capurros!

Watched this gal transform into Marylin Monroe... not quite sure what was going on there...

I got my boys each a black haired hat/wig at a shop down there... Meridith was breaking it in....

It was f-f-freezin down by the water... and some crazy person was SWIMMING!!!!

Dessert was a must at Ghirardelli... Brownie Sundae.... MMmmmmmmm.

We walked along the Piers... and sure enough, just as they said, Pier 39 was home of the Sea Lions!

Meridith made a new friend at a fun little puppet shop...

I got to partake in some "magic tricks" at the magic shop! FUNNY GUY there!

Me, Meridith & Mom on our last metro ride back to our hotel!

And of course drinks & dessert were a must on our last night in California!
