6 Months Down

I talked to Nick today. He was ODO, and was on the computer most of the day (his night). We were able to email back and forth, and then he called when the phone was free. We got disconnected about 5 times throughout our conversation, but were still able to talk for quite a while once you added it all up!

Trevor and Addison talked to him today too. (McKenzie is away at camp)

Things were going great there. Keeping busy!

We are so close to the end of this deployment, I can hardly stand it! Our paper chain is getting shorter and shorter! Trevor and McKenzie take turns each morning tearing off a ring FIRST THING!

We are having a low key week. Soccer pictures are tomorrow for Trevor, we were supposed to have practice tonight, but surprise surprise, it got cancelled. Who knows why.

I've got a doctor appointment Thursday.

Friday will be our busiest day. We pick Kenzie up from camp in the afternoon, then head to soccer practice, then pick up my mom!!!! Yay!

And, SINCE we are getting so close to Nick's return, if anyone is interested in making a banner or a sign for him or the squadron to hang in the hangar for the big homecoming, please feel free! You can mail it to me, or the squadron's Family Readiness Officer:

You can make them out of bed sheets, pillow cases, poster board, etc... NO banner is too big or too small! Nick would love it!

If a banner is too much, then by all means, cards, letters or welcome home notes are great too! You can email/mail them to me and I'll start a pile for him!
