Monday of Fall Break and a little video catch up!

Prepare yourselves, this is a long one!

Now that Addison is pretty much done nursing, and taking a bottle, I have been trying to get her to hold her own bottle. Today, she started out pretty good!
And then she got sick of holding it, so I had to prop it up on her blankie! (OMG, did she just say she propped the bottle?!?! YES I DID!) She doesn't like to sit on my lap for very long, she's just too active, otherwise I'd sit and hold it for her....(stop gasping already!)
Trevor and McKenzie have been getting along pretty well. McKenzie is still on fall break, so they have been spending a lot of time together. This afternoon, they went around the back yard looking for geckos and lizards. Once they caught them, they checked them into the gecko and lizard day spa they set up in our backyard... A.K.A mom's birdbath complete with floating shark and hawaiian dandylions! They seemed to enjoy themselves...oh, the kids too!
I just realized that this picture looks a little derogatory, but Kenzie had just put the lizard right on the fin, and it was about to fall off.
I talked to Nick tonight on the phone and he wanted me to put up some videos of Addison to see what she has been up to. I hadn't downloaded some videos for a while and came across this one of Addison and Nick on the couch a few days before he left for Yuma. She was ready for a nap.

Here is a lengthy video of Addison and my dad, "Grandpa Bob", when Addison and I were home last week for my friend's wedding.

A couple days ago, I made a silly sound and Addison just went crazy and started giggling. I grabbed the camera after she had been giggling a while, but it's better than nothing...sorry, my high pitched noise may get annoying.

Tomorrow I have a spouse's coffee and so I need to get started on some cookie bouquets for that, AND, I am participating in OPERATION BAKING GALS. It's a blog group that sends packages of cookies, etc to troops overseas. You have to participate one month before you can host your own group. So, I am planning on hosting next month, and continue to do so while Nick is in Iraq. I'll post more information as it gets closer if anyone wants to join my group! So, as I was saying, I need to get some cookies baked for that so I can get that package mailed out tomorrow. I think it was actually get shipped out by today.
